How Do I Meet People?
First Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our church family. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at First Baptist Church.
Sunday School
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, First Baptist Church has Sunday School classes for all ages. You can find a class that is just right for you!
Kids Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Wednesday evening, the kids can participate in our AWANA program. The power of God’s Words can transform their lives at an early age!
Youth Ministry
Life can get complicated once you enter those turbulent teen years. But, again, God’s Word has the answers. Our Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings for Bible study, games, snacks, and fellowship.
The Entire Family
God has ordained the family. The Christian Family is the best formula for happiness and success. Our families worship together every Sunday during our worship hour (10:30 am) and prayer meeting (6:00 pm).
Over 60’s
Once you get past sixty, the fun has just begin. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, there is a place for you at First Baptist Church. Our “Golden Agers” continue to study God’s Word and grow in Sunday School. And, there are plenty of opportunities to participate in ministry and share your wisdom with the younger generation!
